HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 01-043RESOLUTION NO. 01-043 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA MAKING APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2000/01 BUDGET WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No 00-38 adopting the budget for Fiscal Years 2000-01 and 2001-02 on June 21, 2000; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said Resolution, the City Manager has recommended further changes to the City's budget; and WHEREAS, as a result of the inclusion of a bulky item pickup for the Spring 2001 Clean-up, tonnage increased from 271 to 565 tons; and WHEREAS, the original appropriations of $35,000 for the Spring 2001 clean-up event is insufficient to cover the Spring 2001 Event costs of $75,838; and WHEREAS, the total cost for the Spring Clean-up Event needs to be increased by $40,838 to cover the costs of the Spring 2001 clean-up. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves to increase the appropriations for the Spring 2001 Clean-up event using the environmental program fund balance. A ND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the above adjustments to the City of Saratoga's Fiscal Year 2000-01 budget will be made using the following entries: 260-5005-552-4010 260-0000-330-2010 Integrated Waste Management Environmental Program Fund Balance Revenues/ Expenditures Fund Balance (Increase) (Decrease) $40,838 $40,838 The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at an adjourned meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 20th day of June, 2001, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmember Ann Waltonsmith, Vice Mayor Nick Streit, Mayor John Mehaffey NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmembers Evan Baker, Stan Bogosian JohnJ({ehaffey, Mayor
