Commissioner Higgins moved to deny the Architectural & Site
Control Permit- Commissioner Tiffany seconded. Carried
unanimously.

Site Control Permit for alterations and a sign on the Sara-
toga Cleaner's store front as shown on Ezhibit "A". Commis-

Mr. Saylot spoke in favor of the variance.
Conmlissioner Anderson moved for approval of a variance from
the required rear yard setback of 357 to a requested 18' at
Lot 16, Tract #1318. Commissioner Crisp seconded. Carried
unanimously.

Trojan The City Administrator briefly outlined the action since the
Const. Co.
last Plannin9 Commission meeting.
The Director of Public Works read a list of possible condi-
tion~ if the Use'Permit is granted.
Chairman Webster ruled on. the motion of Mr. O~Connor, attorney
for Trojan Construction Co.,' ma~e at the last meetin9 to with-
draw the application for the Use Permit - denied, as the City
Ordinances do not allow for withd~awai.

Commissioner Highins returned to the meetin~ at 8:~5 P.M.
Commissioner Bennett move'd that an official letter be sent to
Trojan Constuction Company advising them that the decision
was still pendin~ and ast~ing that a pro.qress report nar.!inC
the people contacted and the arrangements a~Feed upon be
made at the next Plannin9 Commission meeting. Commissioner
Anderson seconded. Carried unanimously.

Commissioner Pasetta moved for approval of the tentative map,
Plan A, subject to the followin9 conditions:

Northerly access disapproved -. relocate access to satin-
faction of County Enqineer.
3) Submit engineered drainage and improvement plans (con-

All utility poles to be relocated as required.
Encroachment permit to be secured from State Division of

the Planning Consultant will'be able to start work immediately

Ord.' " Commissioner Pasetta' stated' that' the rough draft of the ordinance
as rewritten had' been delivered to the City Office and was now
being typed. The Ordinance Will be distributed to the Comm. is-
sioners as soon as possible and will be on the agenda at the n~xt
regular meeting.

Swimming Commissioner Pasetta reported that his comlnittee had studied
Pool Ord.
this matter r~ferred to tl':em and felt that this type of
ordinance was unnebes's_ary for the following reasons
1) A change in the definition of swimming pool in Ordi-
nance #3A-8 woulci be necessary.
2)It is a private responsibility to put in fences.
3) Ti~ere are many public bodies of water not able to be
fenced.
