tributed. Commissioner Tiffany seconded. Carried unantmpusly.

for the applicant, answered questions as to the right of way.
Commissioner Bennett moved for approval subject to the fol-
lowing conditions:
1. Storm waters fee of $150.00.

2- Install 18t wide double seal coat of oil and screen-
lngs surface, utilizing base rock, on Kittredge Rd.,
from end of the existing improvement to the north end
of the. 30' right of way. on this property.
3. Submit a road improvement bond of $4,500.00-

the matter continued until the next regular meeting.

6/25/59 and a letter from Mr. Richard 6. Martin dated July 12,

Commissioner Pasetta moved for approval of the tentative map
subject'to the following conditions:
1. Storm waters fee of $150.00 per lot.
2. Construct otl and screenings road, 18' wide from
point where two 9' access roads converge at Pike to
driveways.
3. Construct concrete or asphalt 9utter for full length
of driveway.
4.Put in culvert as required at the end of driveway.
5-Provide erosion control on hillside cut along driveway.
6. Driveway to be graded to provide for no more than a
i5% maximum grade.

Commissioner Pasetta moved for approval of the tentative map
subject to the conditions read and the setting of the sani-
tary'sewer bond at $250.00. Commissioner Anderson seconded.

Commissioner Bennett moved that the matter be held over to
the next regular meeting. Commissioner Crisp seconded. The

Mr. Robert Morris, prospective purchase~, spoke in favor
of the site.
Commissioner Pasetta moved for approval of the tentative map
sub3ect to the following conditions:
1.' Connect to sanitary sewers
2- Grade front portion of lot to street
3. Construct oil and screenings surface 18' width from Quito
Rd., to driveway along Souse Lane sub3ect to approval of
City Engineer.
4. Set house back 41~ from center line to provide for
future street widening.
5.Record of Survey.
6.Storm waters fee of.$150.00.
7.No.trees to be removed at beginning of Souse Lane.

Commissioner Pasetta moved for approval of the tentative map
subject to th~ following conditions:
1. Health Dept. requires a minimum of 10,000 sq.ft. lot area.
2. Set houae ~5 feet from center line of Verde Vista to
allow for future widening to 20t half street.
3.Record of survey
Storm waters fee of $150.00
5. Construct 18' of oil and screenings surface on Verde
Vista from Highway 9.to driveway.

Mr- Norman O'Connor, representing both the buyer and the
seller, spoke in favor of the site.
Chairman Webster ordered the matter continued to the next
regular meeting in order that Mr. O'Connor could check further
with the Health Dept. fo~ the applicant.

Mr. Zahelle asked a~ ut the 18' pavement width.
Commissioner Anderson moved for approval of the tentative
map subject to the following conditions:
1. Storm waters fee of $150.00 per lot
2- Record of Survey
3. Grade building sites to drain to Pike Road.
4. Widen the existing 10, wide surfacing on Pike Road to
fS' with seal coat of oil and screenings from the end of
the existing improvement near the mail boxes of Jensen,
Mathews and Yatsko to the most easterly driveway of this
property (to~al distance about 600 feet).
5-Submit a road improvement bond of $2,500.00.
6. Submit offer of dedication of l0 feet for future widen-
ing of Pike Road to 40 feet.

Mr. French, architect for the church,and Father Oeary spoke
in favor of the church.
Commissioner Pasetta stated that he felt a 60' right of way
~ms sufficient for Sarat?ga Avenue at this location.
Chairman Webster stated that he felt that any widening of
Saratoga Avenue, when it becomes necessary, should be at the
expense of the applicant rather than of the City.
Commissioner Crisp moved for approval of the tentative map
subject to the following.conditions:
1. ReCord of Survey
2. All drainage to be taken to creek.

3- Submit site development plans for approval.
Dedication of 30' right of way along southerly boundary
{o Flood Control District for the future improvement and
maintenance of Wiidcat Creek.
5. Dedicate for ~5~' half street.on Saratoga Ave., no improve-
ments necessary except acceleration and deceleration
lanes.

sub3ect to the following conditions:
1. Connect to sanitary sewers.
2. Improve EXva Ave., on the uphill side from the bldG- site
to the intersection at Canyon View to an eleven foot
· ' width, inciuding a 2 ft. plant mix gutter, centerline of
existing travelled way to be considered centerline of
future construction.

at end of year.

Commissioner Anderson r'ead a report of the committee on the pro-
posed site. -.
Commissioner Anderson moved that the Secretary be'directed to
write a letter to Mr- Nethery, Cupertino School District, in
accord with the report just read and enclostn9 copies of the
Plannin9 Consultant's report to the City dated June 19, 1959 and
and July 6, 1959- Commissioner Bennett seconded. Carried unani-
mously.

Santa Clara County Planning Commission regarding a proposed
subdivision at the southeast boundary of the Cfty.
Commissioner Bennett moved for referral of the matter to the
subdivision committee for review and report at the next
regular meeting. Commissioner Crisp seconded. Carried
unanimously.
B. ORAL
1. Mr. John Rodrigues, Saratoga Hills Road, asked for clarifi~ation
SDR-68 of Condition #2 in a letterffrom the PlanninG Commission dated

Commissioner Bennett moved for approval of the interpretation of
"driveway access" to mean "the entrance from the property to
Saratoga Hills Ra." Commissioner Pasetta seconded. Carried
unanimously.
2- The Secretary stated that permanent zoning for Annexation 1957-2

atton was still being studied. 'The Planntng Consultant has submitted

a proposed list ~f specifications for a Planned Commercial Zone
which has been distributed to the Planning Commissioners. Chair-
