prepared and atstributed. Commissioner Anderson seconded.

Chairmen Webster ordered the matter continued to

Sar. Ave. read the Interim. Policy on the width of SaratOga
Avenue, street dedications and improvements, adopted
by the City Council on October 21, 1959.

Falcone
The Secretary read the Application for Variances for
reduction in lot sizes for a one-hundred and five lot
subdivision on Saratoga Avenue.
Commissioner Anderson, of the Variance Couunittee, dis-
cussed the facts of the cases a~d-~ead a'lettev from
the State Division of Highways, dated October 22, 1959,
regarding the proposed Route 114 Freeway.
The following spoke in favor of the variance:

The following spoke against the variance:

The Secretary read letters from C. E. Mack and Mr. and
Mrs. W. L- Teepie, St., statin~ their opposition to the
variance.
Chairman Webster ordered the public hearing closed at
8:15 P.M.
Commissioner Bennett moved for denial of the variance'
application. Commissioner Tiffany seconded. Carried
unanimously.

Westbrook
The Secretary read the application for variance in lot
width from 150 feet to 130 feet.
Mr. Westbrook and Mr. Thompson, Peach Hill Road, spoke
in favor of the variance.
Chairman Webster ordered the public hearing closed at
8:35 P.M.
Commissioner Anderson moved for denial of the variance
application. Commissioner Crisp seconded. Carried
unanimously.

The Secretary read the application for a variance in
side yard set back on a corne~ from required 25 feet to
l0 feet.
Commissioner Anderson stated the facts established by
the Variance Committee.
Mr. O, Toole, Irish Homes, spoke in favor of the variance.
The Secretary read a letter, dated October 23, 1959, .from
Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Bellicetti, stating they were hot
opposed to the application for variance.
Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Morgan, Marshall Lane, spoke against
the variance.
Chairman Webster ordered the public hearing closed at
9:15 P.M.
Commissioner Anderson moved for dental of the variance.

'B, BUILDING SITE APPROVAL

The Secretary read a letter dated October 22, 1959
'from L. W- Curtis, regarding a change in the lot line
on a previously approved building site.
Commissioner Anderson read the conditions set by the
Planning Commission on july 13, 1959, on the original
map.
Commissioner Anderson moved for approval of the new
map, marked "Exhibit B", subject to the conditions as
read. commiisloner Crisp seconded. Carried unani-
mously.

Seagraves
The Secretary read a letter from Walter Seagraves,
re9ardin9 conditions set on his building site approval
on August 24, 1959.
Mr. Maurice Rankin, Attorney for Mr. Seagraves, dis- -
cussed the conditions with the Commissioners. Chair-
man Webster ordered the matter continued to the next
regular meeting.
SDR-77 3. SDR-77 - Saratoga Country Club
Sat.
A letter from the Saratoga Country Club, dated October
22, 1959, was read. The Secretary stated that the
Use Permit, V-71, did not have an expiration date
stated tn the conditions. However, Building Site
Approval Conditions, set on'July 28,'1958, had not
been completed within the year allowed. Therefore,
a new application for Building Site ApproVal would
be necessary.
The City Administrator explained the drainage problems
and referred to letters in the flle~ regarding the
existence of dangerous conditions.
Chairman Webster recommended that a new map be filed
for Building Site Approval promptly, and directed
that no action he taken on renewal of the Use Permit
at this time.
V-73 C. REVIEW OF V-73 - DAY AND VANDENBOS

Vanden Bos The'Secretary read Condition j in the Resolution No.
V-73-1, regarding automatic review eighteen months
from the date of issuance, April 28, 1958- The
Secretary stated that there was no record of any
complaints in the file.
The Commission checked the conditions of the Use Permit
and satisfied themselves as to their continuing juris-
diction, and felt that no actionwas needed at this
time.
C.S.Zontng D. ANNEXATION - 1957-2 - ZONING
District
The Secretary stated that'emergency zoning is still
in effect for this area, and stated further that the
Commercial Service Zoning District, which will cover
a large part of the annexation areas is due to be set
for public hearing within the next month.
