B. MINUTES
Commissioner Crisp moved that the minutes be approved as dis-
tributed and read. Commis:~ioner Parden seconded. Carried un-
animously.
C. ELECTION OF NEW SECRETarY
Com. Esrm_ett moved that the resignation of J. R. Huff, Secretary
Pro Tam, be accepted and that Richard A. Grecno be elected Sec-
retary of the Planning Commission. Commissioner Crisp seconded.
Carried unanimously.
Appreciation of Mr. Huff's time and effort in serving the Plan-
ning Commission was unanimously expressed by the Commissioners.
II PUBLIC HE~INGS
A. USE PERMITS
1. UP~21 Rollin E. Buckman 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Buckman spoke in favor of the Use Permit and stated that
sufficient area was available for off-street parking.
Commissioner Bennett moved that the application be dismissed
since the relief requested is not required by Ordinance 3
for the stated use. Commissioner Crisp seconded. Carried
unanimously.
Chairmo_n Webster closed the Public Hearing at 7:17 P.M.
P~. Buckman requested a refund of the filing fee.
Commissioner Parden moved that the Planning Commission
reconLmond to the City Council that the filing fee be refunded.
Commissioner Bennett seconded. Carried unanimously.
B. V~{IANCE~
Chairman Webster ordered V-177 and V-178 considered as one Public
Hearing since both applications refer to the front setback re-
quired on the cul-de-sacv

Chairman Webster gave resume of previous action on SDR-205 & V-171t
James Riley, Engineer for the owner, spoke in support of the
Variances.
Commissioner Glenn moved that Variance be granted from required
setback to uniform 25 foot front-yard setback for all lots facing

cul-de-sac street, specifically lots 2 and 6. Commissioner
Bennett seconded the motion stating that a p.hysical hardship
exists due to location of creek crossing property.

Commissioner HiSgins moved that design marked Plv~hibit "A" be
accepted and a permit be granted for a double face sign and
that the letter "L" b~.~ d~opped below the top of t~/e sign.
Commissioner Anderson seconded. Carried unanimously.
B. SUBDIVISION CO?~iTTEE
1. C-28 - Myron B. Stern Rezoning Application
Commissioner Anderson moved that it be reconnnended that C-28
be rozoned to R4:B# H, and that th.~ Secretary be directed to
transmit this recon~mendation to the City Council. Commission-
or Crisp seconded. The following Roll Call Vote was recorded:

Commissioner Anderson gave t?.e Report stating that Final
Building Site Approval was granted by the City Council
April 6, 1960.

Commissinner HiSgins moved that Architectural and Site Control
Permit be granted on C-28 according to and subject to drawings
