DR-DG-OI2 - Perry and Jones, 1393S Damon Ln., reuiew exterior colors proposed for a new 2-story single family bore under construction in the NHR zoning district to determine if they Meet the condition that they be "~edium earth~one." No action necessary - applicant chose to utilize the approued color. B, DR-8?-015 - Hauro, 12475 Continental Circle, request for design reuiew approual of plans to construct a neu story 6,662 sq. ft. residence in the HHR zoning district per Chapter 15 of ~he City Code. Mr. Griffin, architect for the project, presented some proposed cross sections of a new bore and described his concept; the s~ory portion uould be at eleua~ion GG5~ ~ith single story G?O'; the garage uould re~ain as preuiousl~ shoun uith fill underneath; the house i5 shorter, grading is reduced and the square footage is reduced b~ t00 sq. ft.+/- to G,Z?l sq. f~. The exterior eleuations uill haue a rustic look of horizontal wood siding rather than ~he uertical look with cream'color paint. The Committee supported the architect~s concept and emphasized that vertical lines should be accentuated and a detailed landscaping plan included ~o soften the eastern eleua~ion along the easement. Plans are due ~o Staff bV Friday, Hay 1, for the May 2?th meeting. C. DR-8?-O13 - Brian ~c~ullin, 122~7 Grayside Ln., request for design revieu approval ~o construct a 5,159 sq. rue-story single family dulling in the R-I-20,ODO zoning district per Chapter 1S of ~he Cit~ Code. Mr. Oakley, architect for the project, described the Oiuidend Beuelop~ent project and plans preuiously approued on 34 lots. Oakley stated that he could not ~eet staff's input. The Committee agreed that this site ~as ~ore visible than many of the lots in the Oiuidend Oeuelopment uhere 2-story homes uere preuiously approued and that the design for homes on higher eleuations such as this should reflect the higher eleuation. The home should be lo~er (at least limited to 2G') and blend into the contours, Staff stated that the applicants options are to abide bV the concensus of the ComRlttee and present reuised plans to the staff bV Friday, May 1 for the May 2?th ~eeting or request a continuance, or the Planning Commission uill make a decision on the existing plans. D. Reuieu of Planning Co~Rissfon Bylaus The Committee reuieued the proposed bylaus and recommended some changes. Staff noted the changes and explained that the City Attorney ~ill he drafting a section on ethics for inclusion into the bylaus. After the changes are ~ade, the bylaus uill be placed on the Planning Commission ageode for adoption. II. ADJOURNMENT
