Minutes of the January 17, 1995 meeting were
approved. Swan/Dutra 5/0
C. POSTING OF THE AGENDA
Pursuant of Government Code 54954.2 the agenda for
this meeting was posted on the City Hall Kiosk
February 1, 1995.
II. QLD BUSINESS
A) CommissionsMajor Assiqnments List
secretary Rizzo reported that he will be meeting
with the Mayor, the City Manager and Chairperson
Crotty to review the assignment list. The
Commission received copies for their information
tonight.
III. N~W BUSINESS
A) Re¥ie~ of ~he Tentative Sub-division Map for the
PropeTty bocated at 20851 Saratoqa Hills Road
Secretary Rizzo reviewed the Tentative Sub-division
Map for this property. He commented on action
taken bythe Planning Department. Information item
only.

V. ~OMMISSION AND STAFF REPORTS
A. Commis~io~e~'s Reports:
Open Space Report. Commissioner Weiner gave details
from the Mid-Peninsula Open Space meeting she had
attended. The Open Space consists of 8,000 acres of
land in mid-peninsula manned by nineteen rangers and
some volunteers.
B. Previous Month Council Meeting Report:
Commissioner Weiner reported that the Hwy 85 Noise
Abatement Group spoke to Council about the
possibility of planting more trees to abate noise
from the freeway and the possibility of using Park
Development Funds.
C. Recreation Department Status Report - Joan Pisani:
Secretary Rizzo reported for Pisano that five
commissioners will attend the California Park and
Recreation Conference in San Jose March 2-5.
D. Park Maintenance ~ivisiqD Update - Bob Rizzo:
Secretary Rizzo reported that he had attached a copy
of the new Alcohol Ordinance for Wildwood Park.
Crotty read a letter written by Rizzo to the
National Park Service regarding City cooperation.
The letter received favorable comments. Dutra
mentioned the Saratoga School District's In-service
Day involving the creek areas for education.
