B. MINUTES
Councilman Hartman moved, seconded by Councilman Langwill to approve
the minutes of the January 4th meeting.as mailed and waive the
reading. Carried unanimously.

IV OLD BUSINESS
A.. Councilman Langwill moved that the City Administrator be authorized
to exercise Option ~3 of the Civic Center. Lease Agreement for purchase
Parcel ~4
Civic of Parcel ~4, and that a warrant be drawn in the amount of $9,996.00

Site payable to California Pacific Title Company. Motion seconded by

Councilman Glennon moved, seconded by Councilman Langwill to adopt
Resolution SDR-230-1 approving.building site of Norman Koepernlk

condition of his building site approval and asking Council re-
consideration of Ordinance 23-4 which imposes certain conditions
regarding access roads. With the consensus of the Council, the
Mayor directed that the letter be referred to the appropriate
committee of the Planning Commission for study.

VI ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
A. MAYOR
(1) Mayor reported that the Peninsula Division of the League

Councilman Drake moved for approval of the appointment of
Charles R. Glenn and Frederick G. Crisp as Planning Commis-
sioners for a term of four years to beZin january 22, 1961.
Councilman Hartman seconded the motion which c3rricd unan~-
mously~ and the Mayor was requested tow rite letters of

service provided by these gentlemen durin~ their terms of
office.
(5) Mayor read a proposed resolution opposing consolidation

After lengthy discussion, durin.~which several citizens

Councilman Hartman moved that the Mayor appoint a

B. FI}IANCE
(1) Councilman Dral~e moveds seconded by Councilman Hartman to

approve the bills listed on the January 18, 1961 disburse-
meat list in the amount of $28s530.55 and authorize
warrants be drawn in payment. Hotion carried unanimously.
(2) The budget report for the second quarter of the 19~0-61
year was distributed.
C. COMHITTEES
(1) Councilman Drake, Chairman of the Finance Cvmmittees
potted that he had reviewed the city*s financial situation
