Villa~e and develonment of new shops in the villaqe and hoped that the area,
Bevelopo as the hub of Ssratoqa, would continue to develon with-character
and not be re-built with new rancho tyne structures.

an effort to effect the execution of the lease a~reement For the ~resent
Library
Lease Oak Street library buildin~ and that the aoreement had been chan.ed
slightly to clari~y which items of eQuinnent or furniture belon- to
A~reement the City. An inventory o~ City o~.med furniture and ~ixtures had
been attached to the agreement as Exhibit B and it was provided that
the City retain otmershin of these items should the lease be terminated.

in its 9resent form.
Councilman Drake moved, seconded by Councilman !Iart~an, to authorize
the "ayor to execute the a~reement for the Saratoed branch library as
presented to the Council with attached Exhibit B. "~otion carried

the disbursements on the list dated August 21, 1962, for a total
