Motion carried that the Cfty reaffirm its policy to extend use of the
Civic Theater without charge to the, above group.
RESOLUTION NO. 616
Resolution thanking Saratoga Kiwanis Club for their donation at
Kevin Moran Park was adopted.

Following comments by Attorney George Tobin, a motion.was made and carried

V. PUBLIC HEARINGS
None.
VI. [ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
A~. MAYOR
1. Calabazas Creek - Requested that the City Manager keep Council
advised of the disposition.
2. Support of Human Relations Commission - Motion carried to support
the County'sdraft~.~E~i~ance and to communicate our support.
3. General Plan - Invited Ipublic!'s comments.
4. Noise Ordinanc~ - City ~Manager will make attempt to have Palo Alto's
draft for !e~_pext Council Meeting.
5. A~nual Report - MotionScarried that Fiscal Report only be published
this year=and that there be a. quarterly Mayor's Newsletter issued to
all residents in Saratoga.
6. Community Garden - Mot{on carried to adopt the overall Concept,
subject to condition that an !agreement be drawn up by City Attorney.
7.Yo~thCenter~Ci[f ~l~ionshi~5 - Staff will look at alternatives;
City Manager to report back at future meeting.
B. FINANCE
Motion was carried to approve warrant dumbers ~15416 thru15493 and
authorize the Mayor to'~ign~he'Warrants.

Recommendatfon. City Manager will obtain cost figures for
