PUBLIC-HEARING (Cont'd.) PUBLIE HEARING (City Manager ~ cont'd.) C~uncil in March, it was indicated there would have to be some trade offs to make the plan work. Mr. Rosenfeld would gain access over a 25-foot.easement'and this would be located on the side of the property that would benefit Mr. Rosenfeld. At the same time, there would be some sharing of parking to make the parking relationship work. A discussion followed re: square footage of the Masek site, including building and easement. The City Manager then related results of a parking survey con- ducted by the staff during the month of January. Councilman Kalb distributed data concerning various businesses on that side of the street and appro- priate parking ratios. The Council further discussed formation of the parking assessment district for this area. ~The City Manager then explained how the park~g r_~a~_io_q~'~f~h~ ~ ~g~'~ I ..... He pointed out on Mr. Rosenfeld's plot plan the location of the ease- ment, indicating that it was worked out so the easement would~ be used by both sites as intended -- it is meant to be entrance and egress to the back of Mr. Rosenfeld's property.
