Approval of Minutes: Meetings of November 4, 10, ]987. CLEVENGER/ANDERSON MOVED APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 4, 1987, AND NOVEMBER 10, 1987, AS PRESENTED. Passed 4-0. B. Approval of Warrant List: ANDERSON/CLEVENGER MOVED APPROVAL OF THE WARRANT LIST. Passed 4-0. C. Lease Agreement for Hakone Gardens with Hakone Foundation · HLAVA/ANDERSON MOVED APPROVAL OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT FOR HAKONE GARDENS WITH HAKONE FOUNDATION. Passed 4-0. Councilmember Hiava noted for the record that she wished to see the Board of Trustees include a Board ~aember to act as a liaison to the many citizen groups contributing to Halcone Gardens. 7. NEW BUSINESS A. Action Concerning Expiring Terms on Public Safety Commission and Planning Commission Consensus reached by Mayor Peterson, Councilmembers Anderson and Clevenger that only the one vacancy on the PublicSafety Commission be advertised; Staff directed to advertise the position available. Councilmember Hlava dissented, favc~ring advereisin9 vacancies even if there were incumbents, as previously done. 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. 9. CITY.COUNCIL ITEMS: A. Reports from Individual Councilmembers Councilmember Clevenger reported on the HCD Meeting She reported on actions taken to repair sidewalks on Via Monte Councilmember Hlava reported traffic hazard concerns of Greenbriar homeowners She reported on IGC City Selection Committee, ABAG Representative position open; Councilmember Clevenger expressed interest in this position. Councilmember Anderson reported on a Land Use Planning SeminarShe artended Mayor Peterson reported that the Historical Preservation SoCiety had presented plaques; designating the Orchards and the Old Saratoga Library as historical resources B. ' Nomination of Councilmember Moyles as South County Cities Representative to the Traffic Authority CLEVENGER/HLAVA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO NOMINATE COUNCILMEMBER MOYLES ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA.
