Staff Present: City Manager Peacock, City Engineer Perlin, Planning Director Emslie. 1. Temporary Emergency Access Road Tract 7770 (Old Oak,way) The City Engineer Mr. Perlin, oriented the Councilmembers and those in attendance to the site and the proposed road location. He stated the purpose of the meetings was for the City Council to review the proposed location of a temporary emergency access road to determine on July 24, 1990, whether such road should be built as required by the conditions of Tract 7770 or waived. Mr. Murray, consultant for the developer, showed the plan for a 12' fire access road and restorative grading for APN 503-12-24 which the Council will consider on July 24, 1990. The City Council walked the area where the proposed access road would be located. Chief Ernie Kraule, Saratoga Fire District, expressed the District's position that such roads were important to fire safety. It was agreed the road would only be able to go to the Garrod Ranch property line and fire equipment would have to cross the Garrod Ranch pasture to get to the emergency access road. The City Council then proceeded to lot 11 of Tract 7770 to review Mr. Murray's plans for landscaping and tree replacement as a part of the restoration process. The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m. to July 24, 1990, at 6:00 p.m. in the Senior Lounge of the Community Center, 19655 Allendale Avenue. Notice of adjournment was posted at 11:20 a.m. on July 21, 1990. Respectfully submitted, Harry R. Peacock City Clerk
