HP-lS AN ORDINK~CE OF THE CITY OF SAI~TOGA DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE BANK OR SlaJ~TOGA BANK AT 14421 RIG BASIN WAY AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK (503-24-005) The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains as follows: Section 1: After careful review and.consideration of the report of the Heritage Preservation Commission, the application and supporting materials, the City Council has determined that the findings per Exhibit "A" can be made and hereby designates the property at 14421 Big Basin Way as a Historic Landmark. section 2: This designation shall become operative and take effect thirty (30) days from its date of passage. This ordinance was regularly introduced and after the waiting time required by law, was thereafter passed and adopted this 5th day of AUqust , 1992, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Burger, Kohler, Monia, Tucker and Mayor Anderson NOES: None ABSENT :None y ,v ATTEST: C~k~~ publEshed according to law, ' t Date EXHIBIT "A" FINDINGS FOR HISTORIC LANDMARK DESIGNATION OF THE BANK AT 14421 BIG BASIN WAY (per Criteria in section 13-15.010 of the City Code) 1. The property meets criteria (a) in that it exemplifies and reflects the development of the City's economy and was, and continues to be, an integral part of the early historic and the present business core of the City. 2. The property meets criteria (c) in that the structure is characteristic of the Classic Revival style distinctive in Saratoga, and is in excellent physical condition. 3. The property meets criteria (e) in that it contributes to the unique physical characteristics representing the established Saratoga Village - the central historic business district.
