AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
EXTENDING ORDINANCE 3E-21
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby finds and determines as
follows:
1. On May 21, 1986, the City Council, by unanimous vote, adopted
Urgency Ordinance No. 3E-21 imposing a moratorium on the installation of certain
radio antennas pending the adoption of new regulations pertaining thereto.
2. The City has been engaged in a study to determine and establish
reasonable regulations on the placement and height of radio antennas, as reported in
the Memorandum from the City Attorney to the City Council dated June 16, 1986.
The study and preparation of new regulations is still in progress and additional time is
required for the completion thereof.
3. Urgency Ordinance No. 3E-21 will expire on July 5, 1986, unless
extended pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code.
4. On July 2, 1986, the City Council conducted a noticed public hearing
on the extension of Urgency Ordinance No. 3E-21, at which time any person interested
in the matter was given an opportunity to be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code,
the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION h Urgency Ordinance 3E-21 is hereby extended for a period of 10
months and 15 days so as to expire on May 20, 1987.
SECTION 2: This ordinance is adopted as an urgency measure for the protection of
the public health, safety and welfare and shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.. The statement of findings is specifically referred to and
incorporated herein by reference.

Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Saratoga held on the 2nd day of July, 1986, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Andersc~, Clevenger, Moyles, Peterson, and Mayor Hlava
