AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY T~XES
NECESSARY FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA FOR THE CURRENT YEARAND TO PAY ANYBONDED OR OTHER
INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY, AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE
SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE ESTIMATED CO~TS FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR FOR
SCL DISTRICT 1, AZULE LIGHTING DISTRICT, AND QUITO LIGHTING
DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga!does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The sum of $145,000.00 is hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
from property taxes necessary to support the departments of the
City of Saratoga for the current fiscal year and to pay any indebtedness of
said city.
SECTION 2: The sum of $4,875.00 ishereby fixed as the amount of revenue
necessary to be raised to pay the cost of "SCL District r'
lighting district within the City of Saratoga for the current fiscal year
and all of the lands exclusive of improvermnts within said district are
hereby assessed in said total sum, each parcel hereby being declared to
be benefited by the improvement of ~he furnishing of electric current and
the maintenance of the street lighting system presently located in said
district, in the proportion that the assessed valuation of its land exclusive
of improvementSbears to the total Assessed valuation of all the land exdlusive
of improvements, of the entire distFict, and said assessment shall be and is
hereby prorated over all of said paFcels in direct proportion to each's
assessed valuation, exclusive of in~.rovements.
SECTION 3: The sum~of $2,130.00 ip hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
necessary to be raised to pay the cost of "Azule Lighting
District" within the City of Saratoga for the current fiscal year, and
all of the land exclusive of improvements within said District are hereby
assessed invsaid total sum, each parcel hereby being declared to be benefited
by the improvement of the furnishing of electric current and the maintenance
of the street lighting system presently located in said district, in the
proportion that the'assessed valuation of its land exclusive of improvements
bears to the total assessed valuatibn of all the land, exlusive of improvements,
of the entire district, and said assessment shall be and is hereby prorated
over all of said parcels in direct proportion to each's assessed valuation,
exclusive of improvements.
SECTION 4: The sum of $4,750.00 is hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
necessary to be raised ~to pay the'cost of "Quito Lighting District"
within the City of Saratoga for the~ current fiscal year, and all the land
exclusive of improvements within said district are hereb~g~s~sed in said
total sum, each parcel hereby being declared to be benefited by the improve-
ment of the furnishing of electric Icurrent and the maintenance of the street
lighting system presently located i!n said district, in the proportion that
the assessed valuation of its land,~ exclusive of improvements, bears to the
total assessed valuation of all th~ land, exclusive of improvements, of the
entire district, and said assessmeHt shall be and is hereby prorated over all
of said parcels in direct proportion to each'S assessed valuation, exclusive
'of improvements.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall b~come effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
The above ordinance was regularly introduced and was thereafter passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga on the 19th day
