Whenever under the provision~ of this Code or any other law or ordinance a particular Department Head, Officer, or employee has been delegated a duty of enforcement of any law, ordinance or code provision, such duty and responsibility is not revoked hereby but shall continue and be concurrent with the duty of the Code Enforcement Officer. In enforcing the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, the Code Enforcement Officer shall have the same power as given the Zoning Administrator by the provisions of Section 20.2 of Ordinance NS-3, and in enforcing thejSubdivision Ordinance he shall have the same power as given the Director of Public Works by virtue of Section 9.1 of Part One of Ordinance NS-5. The City COuncil may, from time to time, by Ordf~apce or Resolution, add to, change, or modify the duties of the Code'~nforcement Officer, and may create priorities of responsibility in relation ~o. ~arti~lar Department He~d, Officer or employee who also may have a ~oncurrent duty of enforcement under any p.a~ticular law, ordinance or ~rovision of t~is'~ity. Section 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it wouM have passed this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, clauses or phrases be held invalid or unconstitutional. Section 3: ~ni~ ordi~'anceshall be in full force and effect 30 days after its passage andSadoption. The above and foregoing.
