ORDINANCE NS-3, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING
· SECTION 1.4 THEREOF ~N RELATION TO THE PROPERTY
AS TO WHICH SAID ZONING ORDINANCE IS APPLICABLE
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Section 1.4, captioned APPLICATION, of
Ordinance NS-3, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
. Section 1.4: APPLICATION. This Ordinance shall
apply to all property located within the city limits
of this City, except public streets, property and
property rights owned by the City of Saratoga,
railroad rights of way, and underground public
-~'; utility =lines and facilities. With the above
~-' noted exceptions, it applies to all such property
whether the same be owned by private persons,
firms or corporations or organizations, or by
the United States of America or any Of its agencies,
or by the State of California or any of its agencies
.~ or political subdivisions, or by any County, or
~'~ by any city with the exception of the City of
~ Saratoga, and without limitation of the foregoing,
is intended to apply 'fully to all property owned by
or under the control of any authority or district,
including school districts, organized under the
· laws of the State of California.
~ Section 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause
or phrase of this ordinance is for any
~ reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
~' portlofts of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of
?~'~" -2.~.~-fS~r~oga hereby declares that it would have passed this
'~' ~f?~ ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause'and
· '~ ~' phrase thereof, irrespective of-the fact that any one or more
~ ~ sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be held
"~ i~valid or unconstitutional.

and adopted at a regular meetin~ of the City Council of the City
of Saratoga held on the ..3~d. day of November , 1971, by
