HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-3.43 ORDINANCE NO. NS-3r43 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NS-3, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP The City. Council of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains as follows: SECTION 1: Sectional District Map No. C-193 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference is hereby adopted, and the Zoning Map of the City of Saratoga adopted by Section 1.8 of Ordinance NS-3 of said City, together with any amendments thereto, is hereby changed and amended by substituting the crosshatched area on the foregoing sectional district map for that portion of the Zoning Map delineated in and by the within-adopted cross- hatched portion of the sectional district map. Any pS~tion. of the Zoning Map of the City of Saratoga, together with any amendments thereto, as is in conflict with the within-adopted sectional district map is hereby superseded and repealed. SECTION 2: This ordinance reclassifies certain property shown on the attached sectional map from "A" (Agricultural) and "P-A" (Professional-Administrative) to "C-N" (Commercial-Neighborhood),, District. It shall become operative and take effect on and after thirty (30) days from its date of passage. This ordinance was regularly introduced and after the waiting time required by law was thereafter passed and adopted this 2nd d~y of Ma~lq?~by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen K~[B, Metteonl, Callon, Kraus &Con' NOES: None ....... The above and fore,,'ioing is a true and correct copy o O,'clin~nc~ ,2Z~ ~., ,4~ which has been ATTEST: pubJished accordi;}g~' Deputy City Clerk ' - ~ ~------_ Date E:XH I I~IT "A" c- 195 RESOLUTION N0. 897 RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL, CITY OF SARATOGA ESTABLISHING POLICY FOR LOCATION OF COMMERCIAL USES ALONG SARATOGA AVENUE WHEKEOTHERWISE PERMITTED BY USE PERMIT IN COMMERCIAL ZONES IN AREAS GENERAL PLANNED PD MIXED The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as follows: Due to its concern that lands fronting Saratoga Avenue retain their general residential character, it shall be the policy of the City of Saratoga, in relation to the arrangement of mixed uses in those areas along Saratoga Avenue general planned for PD mixed uses, that where such mixed uses are otherwise permitted by a conditional use permit, NO use shall be d~emed acceptable which places a focus of commercial activity onto Saratoga Avenue or otherwise causes a departure from the generally residential appearing atmosphere now present, nor shall traffic from any such development access directly on to Saratoga Avenue. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd .day of May , 1979 by the following vote. / AYES: Councilmen Kalb, Matteoni, Callon & Corr NOES: Councilman Kraus ABSENT: None ATTEST:
