ORD~,NANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NS-5, THE SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCE 'OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA, RELATING TO SITE
APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS. AND EXCEPTIONS THERETO.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain..
as follows: I '
Section 1: Subsection (c).of Section 5, "Exceptions", of
: Part Three of Ordinance NS-5, is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following paragraph:

For the purpose of Exceptions (c) (1) above, ~n addition,
expansion or reconstruction shall be .considered. to exceed 50%
of the value of. the existing structure where the work of con-
struction or improvement is done at different time intervals
requiring two or more buil~{ng permits, within a period of

original structure, but which combined total more than 50% of

Section 2: If any section~ subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of thisiordinance is for any reason held
by a court of competent jurisdiction ~o be invalf~id, such decision shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The
City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it would.have
p~%sed this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence,~s,~and
phrase thereof, irrespective of the f~ct that any one or mqre sect.ions,
subsec[ions, s~ntenCes, clauses or phrases be held invalid or unconstitu-
tional.
Section 3: This ordinancelshall be operative and take effect

The above and foregoing Ordinance was introduced and passed at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga, held on the
4th day of March I 1970, by the following vote:
