PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING SUMMARY
DATE: Tuesday, December 6, 1994
PLACE: Senior Center - Adult Day Care Center, 7:30 p.m.

TYPE: Adjourned Regular Meeting
The meeting is a study session between applicants, interested
citizens and staff, to discuss advance planning projects, continued
applications and general planning issues. The Planning Commission
has a policy that no decisions will be made at these sessions. A
written report will be made of the proceedings.
ITEMS OF DISCUSSION
1. TREE ORDINANCE REVIEW - Review of Tree Committee recommended
revisions to the Tree Preservation Ordinance (Continued to
January 3 Study Session at the request of the Tree Committee).
2. SIGN ORDINANCE REVIEW.- Review and discussion of new work
program item.
The Commission reviewed the draft work program and directed staff
to initiate the project as planned.
3. PARKING STUDY - Review of preliminary parking survey results
and general discussion of parking issues.
The Commission reviewed and discussed various aspects of the
parking survey results. The Commission requested that additional
survey numbers be obtained for the Village area during the evening
hours when the majority of the restaurant are in operation.
Commissioner Abshire volunteered to assist staff in this survey.
4. PLANNING COMMISSION RETREAT - Discussion of scheduling.
The retreat was tentatively scheduled for Friday January 13.

The meeting was adjourned to Wednesday, January 11 at 7;30 p.m..
