REGULAR MAINTENANCE Most trails are checked twice yearly and basic maintenance is performed if needed. Usually includes clearing debris off trail and clearing overgrowth and undergrowth away from trail. II. SPECIAL MAINTENANCE Typically includes projects such as re- grading an eroded trail, repaving, fixing bridges, removing root damage. Sometimes special design work is required. Asphalt or concrete work is usually small and therefore not scheduled separately but rather added to a larger project that the city may have underway. III. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS Significant trail repair or development requiring CIP funding. IV.
