RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
AMENDING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2010/11
TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR INCREASED LIABILITY COSTS TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to properly fund the Risk Management / Liability Fund in the City;
and
WHEREAS, additional financing in the amount of $75,000 is needed for the Risk Management /
Liability Fund; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to make adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2010/11 budget as follows:
Account Description Account# Amount
To appropriate $75,000 of additional expenditures for increased liability costs to the City and rescind the
$25, 000 transfer to the General Fund
To increase the appropriation for claim expenses in the Risk Management / Liability Fund:
Risk Management / Liability Fund — Transfer In: 611- 8401 -49999 $25,000
General Fund — Transfer Out 111- 8101 -99999 $25,000
Liability/Risk Management Fund — claim expenses 611- 8401 - 67116/7 $75,000
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
approves the above adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2010/11 General Fund Budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on 20th day of April, 2011 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember Manny Cappello, Emily Lo, Jill Hunter, Vice Mayor Chuck Page,
Mayor Howard Miller
NOES: None

ABSTAIN: None
