A. Roll Call — PRESENT: Bailey, Conrado, Lowdermilk, Wyman, Louden,

B. Approval of minutes from 9/14/04 — Approved 5 -0
C. Posting of Agenda — Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the

at the City Library. The HPC requested more information including a site

Maintenance Person prior to HPC review.
H. Old Business
A. Review request by Mr. Muniz to change the name of Baroni Court to Muniz
Lane. The HPC voted 7 -0 recommending to the Community Development
Director that the current name of the street be kept denying the request to
change the street name to Muniz Court.
B. Update on County Grant for McWilliams House renovations. — Still waiting
for the Grant to be signed by the County.
C. Update on Work Plan assignments. — Item Discussed
D. Update on training on DPR forms. — Training continued to Oct 21St at the
Saratoga Museum at 8:30 am.
E. Mustard Walk. — Item Discussed
III. New Business
A. 8:30am - Site visit to 14820 Pierce Road the Paul Masson House, to consider
the structure for Land Mark Status. — Recommended approval to the City
Council 7 -0.
B. 9:30am — Site visit to 11995 Walbrook Drive to consider the structure for the
Mills Act Program. — Recommended approval to the City Council 7 -0.

Subject: HPC site visit
Hi Susie,
The Heritage Preservation Commission would like to place your adobe house on the City list of Land Mark structures. It
requires your agreement to be put on the list. First the HPC would tour the residence and make a recommendation to the
City Council. The Council would then approve the proposal and place you on the list. The advantages of being on the list
is the ability to apply for the Mills Act contract with the City. If you are interested in the Mills Act I could process both at the
same time.
The next HPC meeting is November 9th. We would be at your house at about 8:45am for the tour. The next meeting after
that is December 14th. Let me know if you are interested, and if any of those dates work for you.

Hi Susie,
The Heritage Preservation Commission would like to place your adobe house on the City list of Land Mark structures. It
requires your agreement to be put on the list. First the HPC would tour the residence and make a recommendation to the
City Council. The Council would then approve the proposal and place you on the list. The advantages of being on the list
is the ability to apply for the Mills Act contract with the City. If you are interested in the Mills Act I could process both at the
same time.
The next HPC meeting is November 9th. We would be at your house at about 8:45am for the tour. The next meeting after
that is December 14th. Let me know if you are interested, and if any of those dates work for you.

Director that the current name of the street be kept denying the request to
change the street name to Muniz Court.

for the Grant to be signed by the County.
C. Update on Work Plan assignments. — Item Discussed

Saratoga Museum at 8:30 am.

Hi Susie,
The Heritage Preservation Commission would like to place your adobe house on the City list of Land Mark structures. It
requires your agreement to be put on the list. First the HPC would tour the residence and make a recommendation to the
City Council. The Council would then approve the proposal and place you on the list. The advantages of being on the list
is the ability to apply for the Mills Act contract with the City. If you are interested in the Mills Act I could process both at the
same time.
The next HPC meeting is November 9th. We would be at your house at about 8:45am for the tour. The next meeting after
that is December 14th. Let me know if you are interested, and if any of those dates work for you.
