REPORT SUMMARY: At their annual meeting on May 30, 2007, the SASCC membership approved a change in the bylaws of the organization to increase the number of directors on the board from thirteen (13) to fifteen (15). The bylaw amendment states that the two new directors are to be appointed by the City Council and include representatives from the City Council or City staff as voting members of the Board. The purpose of the change was to provide the City an opportunity to offer additional oversight and direction to the SASCC Board and to allow SASCC more immediate access to City liaisons.
