The undersigned, being at least a majority of the owners of the four residential parcels tq be served by this privvtoly owned and maintalool road, hersby petition the City of Saratoga to determine that the Intereete of the owners of said parcels and the motoring public will beat be served by application, of the provisions of the California Vehicle Code to that approved private road. The undersigned owners-: agree that, upon an enactment by the City of Saratoga of the ordinance or resolution petitioned for hereby, the owners will erect, at the entrance to the driveway, a sign of such size, shape, and color as to be readily legible during daylight hours from a distance of 100 feet, to the effect that the driveway is subject to the provisions of the Vehicle Code.
