Meutve A ONE - EIGHTH CENT SALES TAX. Shall the County of Santa Clara enact a
one•eighth cent sales tax, that cannot be talon by the state, for local priorities such as:
• Law enforcement and public safety;
• Trauma and emergency room services;
- Health coverage for low- income children;
- Economic development and job creation;
- Housing for the homeless; and
- Programs to help students stay in school; for a limited period of ten years, with annual
public reports to ensure fiscal accountability?

Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Youth Council
Purpose: The Saratoga Chamber of Commerce
Youth Council will research high school input on
major commerce decisions. The Council will help
small business.with youth - related issues and
work with the Chamber on planning and putting
on events.

stores and eat in our restaurants.
• 250 people read our newsletters weekly
• There 804,000 visits to website yearly
• We get over 2000 requests for information
about everything and anything Saratoga yearly
• There were 77 events bringing visitors to the
Village
