The Clerk announced that pursuant to Government Code
II I
Meeting was reconvened by the Mayor at 9:55 P- M.
Upon the SURgestl3n Of the Mayor the Clerk reviewed in
ckrronclogjcal order the entire file pertaining to the
Xrojan Construction �Omp3ny and their Violation of Ordi-
nance i�o- 3A-7A and 3-PA-1. Sections 4.1, 4.2 and 4-3
pert fining, to the excavation of natural materials at
Tract #1321.
The Clerk reported that at the Flannirig COmr,,�Isslon meeting
of 4/13/59 there was a W;t;)w.j unanimously approved reoom-
mending that the City Council seek a cease ind desist order
against the i'rojan Construction Company until the controversy
to settled.
Nr. Johnsen of ti�je .'rojan Construction Cc)mpany spoke on be-
half of said cOmPany, as did Vr. John Hogan anJ Mr. James
Hill*

1. Mediation between complainants and Trojan k;onstructlon
Is needed.
2. The decision of the issue on nroseeution be deferred..
3. Suggested th t Trojan Constructic- Comnany appease the
people within a reasonable tire and after that time
the Council can then deoide whether further aetion to
advisable.
4. Inform the complainants of this City's efforts to mediate
and ease situation to their satisfaction.
5. Ultimate decision as tO action of the City should bq
deferred until advice of Director of Public .'corks can
be obtained as to his Apinion for rectification, etc.
All Councilmen present were in aareenpnt with the N -3yors
suggestions as outlined above.
Councilman Glennon moved for adjournment, seconded by.
Councilman Rogasco at 11 :34 P. M. Carried unanimously.
