A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
ESTABLISHING A ONE-TIME NON-PRECENDENTIAL
AUTHORIZATION OF PAYMENT
IN APPRECIATION AND RECOGNITION OF EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saratoga (hereinafter "City Council" and
"City") wishes to acknowledge its appreciation of employees for their dedication of service this
year given the number of significant accomplishments including a long overdue increase to the
City's property tax allocation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish a one-time non -precedential
authorization of payment in the amount of eight hundred dollars ($800) to all at -will and regular
full-time benefited City employees employed as such for the prior twelve consecutive months,
with said amount pro -rated for part-time and partial year employment at -will and regular benefited
employees, employed by the City of Saratoga as of today, December 1, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes the payments to be funded with one-time monies
from the current year budgetary savings;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga resolves to establish a
one-time, non -precedential authorization of payment in appreciation and recognition of
employees.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a
special meeting held on the 1St day of December 2015, by the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Miller, Vice Mayor Cappello, Council Members Lo, Bernald, Kumar
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
