Village Policy Update Work Plan
In May, Council was presented the results of the Community Outreach effort.
The Council, following a Planning Commission recommendation, determined:
The Village Plan is substantially completed having served its useful life;
Future Village policy to be incorporated into the General Plan, Village Design Guidelines and Zoning Ordinance;
Council directed staff to prepare a Work Plan for vetting and developing updated Village policy in response to the Community Outreach
Village Policy Update Work Plan
There were four topic areas identified to be addressed in the Village
Policy Update:
Parking and Circulation
Village Vision
Village Design and Character
Opportunity Sites
Village Policy Update Work Plan
Phase I Address Parking and Circulation and Village Vision (November 2016
thru February 2017)
Phase II Address Village Design and Character and Opportunity Sites within
the comprehensive update of the Village Design Guidelines
(March 2017 thru June 2017)
Final Adoption August 2017
