1. Site Visit:
a. 19987 Moran Lane (Re-roof)
2. Routine Organization:
a. Roll Call
Present: Stransky, Cappello, Rodgers, Schuck, Nugent, Marchetti, Shah
Absent: None
Staff: Kwon, Baily
b. Review of minutes from September 12, 2017 meeting. Cappello/Rodgers moved to
approve the September 12, 2017 minutes.
Ayes: Marchetti, Cappello, Nugent, Rodgers, Schuck, Stransky, Shah
Noes: None
Absent: None
c. Posting of Agenda – Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956, the agenda was
properly posted on October 5, 2017. Kwon reported the posting of the agenda.
d. Non-Agendized Communications - Any member of the public may address the
Commission about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes.
None
e. HPC direction to staff regarding non-agendized communications - Commissioners may
not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda.
None

a. 19987 Moran Lane (Re-roof)

The Commission approved the reroof as proposed. (Max, Def Moire Black with
Landmark Pro style)
Marchetti/Nugent moved to recommend approval of the re-roof as proposed.
Ayes: Stransky, Marchetti, Cappello, Nugent, Rodgers, Schuck, Shah
Noes: None
Absent: None
b. Point of Interest Markers Program overview, map & QR pages
Commission discussed the topic. Further discussion will occur next month
4. Staff Comments:
a. City’s Heritage Preservation Survey (Informational only)
Baily provided the survey to the Commission.
b. Heritage Orchard Masterplan (Informational only)
Baily provided the Orchard Masterplan to the Commission.
Commissioner Nugent left the meeting.
5. Commissioner Comments:
a. DPR research status by Commission and other tasks (Workplan).
Each Commissioner provided a status update.
Commissioner Cappello left the meeting.
b. Events/Calendar: State of the City, Arbor Day, Preservation Month, Blossom Festival,
Funding.
Commission discussed topics. This item will be further discussed next month.
