Type: Regular Meeting Place: City Hall /Administrative Conference Room - 13777 Fruitvale Avenue 1. Site Visit: 20375 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road (Woodleigh House) – A site visit will be conducted to determine exterior modifications of the Woodleigh House are in conformance with the Heritage Preservation Commission standards. Site Visit conducted. 2. Routine Organization: a. Roll Call Present: Cappello, Conrado, Nugent, Marchetti, Schuck, Stransky, Shah Staff: Michael Fossati, Liz Ruess Applicant: Jaclyn Greenmyer b. Review of minutes from May 12, 2015 meeting. Conrado/Shah moved to approve the May 12, 2015 minutes as amended. Ayes: Cappello, Conrado, Nugent, Marchetti, Schuck, Stransky, Shah Noes: None c. Posting of Agenda – Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda was properly posted on June 4, 2015. Planner Fossati reported the posting of the agenda. d. Non-Agendized Communications - Any member of the public may address the Commission about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes. Chair Nugent provided materials to commissioners regarding criteria on how to properly evaluate historic properties. e. HPC direction to staff regarding non-agendized communications - Commissioners may not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda. New Business: a. 20375 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road (Woodleigh House) – The City has received a request to review proposed exterior modifications of 20375 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. The property is currently listed as a “Heritage Resource” within the City of Saratoga. Cappello/Stransky moved to approve the project with additional conditions. Conditions include the proposed French door must be “wood” French door. Approved 7-0. 4. Old Business a. FAQ’s (Conrado, Stransky, Schuck, Shah) Chair Nugent directed commissioners to e- mail FAQ’s to Planner Fossati by June 30 for distribution for July meeting. b. Budget Update (Fossati) Staff informed HPC that completed DPR’s cost between $500 - $1,500. Current 2015/2016 budget is $5,000. 5. Action Items for Discussion / Update (No memo): a. Quarry Property – Staff to provide update on the Quarry Master Plan. No update b. Hakone Gardens – Staff to provide update on Hakone Gardens Master Plan. No Update c. John Henry House – Staff to provide an update. No Update d.
