Type: Regular Meeting Place: Linda Callon Conference Room - 13777 Fruitvale Avenue 1. Site Visit(s): a. 13915 Saratoga Avenue 2. Call to order: Chair Marchetti called the meeting to order at 8:47 AM 3. Roll Call: Present: Chair Marilyn Marchetti, Commissioners, Annette Stransky, Alexandra Nugent, Paula Cappello, Dr. Jo Rodgers, and Rina Shah Absent: None Staff: Nicole Johnson, Planner II Commissioner Rodgers left the meeting at 8:49 am 4. Oral Communications: None 5. Approval of minutes from August 28, 2018 meeting. Shah/Nugent moved to approve the minutes. Motion passed. Ayes: Shah, Stransky, Nugent, Marchetti, Rodgers, and Cappello. Noes: None. Absent: Rodgers Abstain: None 6. New Business: a. 13915 Saratoga Avenue- the Commission determined that the reroof application satisfied criteria a, b, and c of Section 13-20.070 of the City Code. Shah/Nugent moved to recommend approval of the reroof application. Motion passed. Ayes: Shah, Stransky, Nugent, Marchetti, Rodgers, and Cappello. Noes: None. Absent: Rodgers Abstain: None Commissioner Rodgers returned to the meeting at 9:00 am b. Commission Recognition Dinner-Nicole Johnson asked that the Commissioners RSVP to the upcoming Commission Recognition Dinner Page 2 of 3 7. Staff Comments: a. Update on John Henry house and the Grover house- Nicole Johnson stated that there is no new information to report on the John Henry house. Johnson explained that the new owner of Grover House and Blue Rock Shoot has taken over the project from Mitch Cutler and plans to complete the project as approved with no change in the design. They will begin the construction staging work shortly, starting with fencing of the site and building a pedestrian covered walkway along Big Basin Way. Then they will proceed with removing the two buildings. The Blue Rock Shoot building will be demolished using an excavator. For the Grover House, they will hand dismantle the front of the building and try to salvage as much of the building materials as possible to be reused in the reconstruction of the building 8. Old Business: a. Project status provided by Commissioners –the commissioners discussed the status of their projects and suggested potential properties to include on the inventory. 9.
