3,419 men, women, and
children received critical
help from WVCS
842,380 lbs of food were
distributed in the food
pantry
2,311 individuals visited
the food pantry and the
mobile food pantry
$251,270 in emergency
financial assistance was given
to prevent homelessness
Volunteers helped 82
clients file for $120,138 in
tax returns
259 families received
Thanksgiving meal baskets
1,011 students and
individuals were served on
the Mobile Food Pantry
1,400 people came to
WVCS for the first time for
help
133 children in K-12th
grade received clothing,
shoes and backpacks

Annual Report Highlights
•In October 2017, launched RYDE, a senior transportation pilot
program serving seniors 55+ in Cupertino, Saratoga, Los Gatos,
Monte Sereno and Campbell
•Expanded the Mobile Food Pantry
•Achieved significant program milestones
•53% increase in new clients
•14% increase in children served through the Back to School program
•10% increase in clients served through Gift of Hope
