A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SARATOGA YOUTH COMMISSION
WHEREAS, five vacancies were created on the Saratoga Youth Commission resulting from the
expired terms of Naisha Agarwal, Briana Wiles, Isaac Yoon, Christopher Smails, and Kami Cheatham;
and
WHEREAS, Commissioners appointed after April 6, 2011 may not serve consecutive terms on
the Youth Commission, therefore there were no incumbent Youth Commissioners eligible for
reappointment; and
WHEREAS, the City publicized the vacancies, accepted applications until 5:00 p.m. on April 22,
2019 and the City Council conducted interviews on April 30, 2019;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves that the following
individuals were appointed to the Saratoga Youth Commission for 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2019
and ending June 30, 2021 or upon high school graduation, if graduation occurs before June 30, 2021:

The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City
Council held on the 15th day of May 2019 by the following vote:

Mary -Lynne Bernald, Yan Zhao
