Roll Call Present: Commissioners Cappello, Conrado, Marra, Marchetti, Nugent, Shah Absent: Commissioner Heid Staff: Senior Planner Christopher Riordan B. Review of minutes from June 12, 2012 meeting. Approved 6-0 C. Posting of Agenda – Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda was posted on July 5, 2012. Agenda properly posted D. Oral & Written Communication - Any member of the public may address the Commission about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes. Commissioners may not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda. None E. Oral Communications –Instruction to staff regarding actions on current Oral Communications. Commissioner Nugent requested to keep tank houses on agenda. Commissioner Marchetti updated commission on Hakone application. 2. New Business A. Site Visit at 15400 Montalvo Road – Review of an application by Taylor Welty of the Montalvo Arts Center for HPC review of two restoration projects involving the “pond area” and the “lower great steps” of the Montalvo Arts Center at 15400 Montalvo Road. Villa Montalvo is a Designated City Landmark. Commission discussed. Commissioner Cappello recommended approval, Shah second. Vote 6 – 0. 3. Old Business A. Properties on Inventory – Continue the discussion process of adding new properties to the existing Heritage Inventory. Commission discussed. B. Heritage Tree Applications – Discuss potential modifications to simplify the Heritage Tree designation process. Commission discussed.
