Routine Organization A. Roll Call: PRESENT­Koepernik, Ballingall, Grens, Peck ABSENT­None GUESTS­Tom Lowdermilk, Patricia A. Bailey, Jill Hunter, Danielle Surdin B. Approval of minutes from 5/14/02­Approved 4­0 C. Posting of the Agenda ­ Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda was posted on Thursday June 6, 2002 D. Oral Communications­Willys Peck asked staff for clarification on the moving of the Senior Center to its new site. Danielle Surdin gave a brief update on the project. Jill Hunter asked about the status of some of the downtown historic structures that are deteriorating. Danielle Surdin gave a brief update on some of the potential projects she has had contact with concerning the various sites. Tom Lowdermilk discussed the possibility of updating the Web site on historic structures. E. Written Communications II. Old Business A. Update on the Orchard adopt a tree kiosk­Norm Koepernik updated the HPC on the progress and noted that he is currently working on the cost estimates for the project. B. Heritage Tours –Continue discussion­Danielle Surdin is working on the Historic Walking Tour. C. Create calendar of old historic photos­Work is continuing on the calendar. Danielle Surdin gave a short presentation on the various price options and materials available for the calendar. D. Austin Way­ Heritage Lane designation­Staff gave a brief update on the project. E. Heritage Orchard updates and discussion­Staff explained what happened at the City Council meeting and gave a brief update on the project. III. New Business A. Review plans for a new 590 sq. ft. detached two­car garage at 21120 Wardell Road. The property is listed as a local Heritage Resource. Staff will provide plans and a presentation at the meeting. Project Approved 4­0 IV. Items Initiated by the Commission Review Heritage Preservation Ordinance V. Items Initiated by the Secretary July and August meetings will need to be in the Planning Department’s meeting room due to Kids Camp in the Warner Hutton House. VI.
