I. Routine Organization
A. Roll Call
B. Approval of minutes from 6/14/05
C. Posting of Agenda – Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the
agenda was posted on Thursday July 7, 2005
D. Oral & Written Communication - Any member of the public may address the
Commission about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to
three minutes. Commissioners may not comment on the matter but may choose
to place the topic on a future agenda.
II. Old Business
A. Update on City sites being submitted for the National Registry
B. Update on West Valley College Draft EIR and the Carlson House
III. New Business
A. Update on McWilliams house renovation and creation of a possible committee
to work with the project architect.
IV. Items to be placed on the next Agenda
A. Update on Work Plan assignments.
B. Review request from the Saratoga Historic Foundation to have a sign placed
on Saratoga Avenue in the orchard saying “Saratoga Historical Orchard, a
Glimpse of the Past, Preserved for the Future”.
C. Review list of properties with structures 50 years and over in age
D. Historic Preservation Data Base
E. Plaques
V. Pending Items
A. Adopt a Tree Program for the Heritage Orchard
B. Update Heritage Ordinance
C. Review Oak Street as a Heritage Lane

be taken by filing with the Secretary of the Planning Commission a written notice and
filing fee within 10 days of the date of the decision.
