MINUTES: Draft Minutes from Regular Planning Commission Meeting of May 28, 2008
ORAL COMMUNICATION:
Any member of the Public will be allowed to address the Planning Commission for up to three minutes on matters not
on this agenda. The law generally prohibits the Planning Commission from discussing or taking action on such items.
However, the Planning Commission may instruct staff accordingly regarding Oral Communications under Planning
Commission direction to Staff.

Pursuant to Government Code 54954.2, the agenda for this meeting was properly posted on June 5, 2008
REPORT OF APPEAL RIGHTS:
If you wish to appeal any decision on this Agenda, you may file an “Appeal Application” with the City Clerk
within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of the decision, pursuant to Municipal Code 1590.050 (b).

General Plan Conformity Determination for Vacation of Upper Old Oak Way (John Cherbone)
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
All interested persons may appear and be heard at the above time and place. Applicants/Appellants and
their representatives have a total of ten minutes maximum for opening statements. Members of the Public
may comment on any item for up to three minutes. Applicant/Appellants and their representatives have a
total of five minutes maximum for closing statements.
1. APPLICATION PDR070019 (50369018) TRI HONG; 21995 VIA REGINA – The applicant
requests Design Review approval to construct a new twostory single family residence, including a
basement and an attached Secondary Dwelling Unit. The total floor area of the proposed residence and
garage will be approximately 7,978 square feet. The net lot size is approximately 3.5 acres and the site is
zoned HR (Hillside Residential). (Christopher Riordan)
2. APPLICATION 07327 (36631004 & 36631005)SARKISSIAN/TERRY MARTIN ASSOCIATES;
22000 ROLLING HILLS ROAD The applicant requests design review approval to construct a second
dwelling unit. The proposed second dwelling unit will not exceed 1,200 square feet and will be less than
26feet in height. The site is located in the hillside residential (hr) zoning district. Design review approval
by the planning commission is required pursuant to Saratoga city code section 1545.060. (Shweta Bhatt)
