#599 Glen Brae Dr
Date Received: October 7, 2024
Requesting Resident: Audrey Sun
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Glen Brae Dr
Description of traffic safety
concern:
On Glen Brae Drive right before Congress Springs Park. There is a curve prior
to the railroad, next to the substation. There is a driveway and a fence leading
into the park which makes it a frequent place for people to cross the street.
When you turn onto Glen Brae Drive from Cox Ave and drive towards
Congress Springs Park, the curve has always been a dangerous area for
pedestrians crossing because there's no mirror to help us see oncoming cars.
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
It would be helpful if there was a safety mirror at the corner before the park
to help people cross the street safely.

#600 Woodbank Way and Rancho Las Cimas Way
Date Received: October 17, 2024
Requesting Resident: Lynn McFarlane
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Woodbank and Rancho Las Cimas Way
Description of traffic safety
concern:
This is essentially a 3 way intersection with no yield or stop sign. Visibllity is
limited from all 3 directions.
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
Yield signs should be posted to warn of possible danger.
#601 Gypsy Hill Rd
Date Received: October 16, 2024
Requesting Resident: Farshid Zarbakhsh
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Gypsy Hill Rd. / Chester Ave.
Description of traffic safety
concern:
There is safety concern due to the poor visibility of the road and the speeding
high traffic of cars and trucks in front t of our house. This concern is
corroborated by some of our neighbors. We are located at the bend of the
Gypsy Hill road, prior to the bridge on the creek, before the climb up the hill.
There is no visibility at the entrance or driveway of the house, of the cars
coming down the hill. Cars usually speed up in both directions, particularly
coming down the hill (one car coming down the hill actually crashed through
our fence a few years ago).
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
1- Speed bumps prior to the bend to discourage speeding, going up the hill. 2-
Speed bumps after the bridge to slow down the cars and trucks at the end of
the slope. 3- Mirror at the bend to get visibility of the cars coming down the
hill. 4- Speed limit sign.

#603 Kane Dr at Veronica Dr
Date Received: December 5, 2024
Requesting Resident: Deborah Miller
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Kane Drive intersection with Veronica Drive
Description of traffic safety
concern:
The meeting of Kane Drive and Veronica Drive creates a very dangerous “L”
intersection (90 degree curve) because vehicles making the left turn from
Kane onto Veronica frequently swerve into the lane of oncoming traffic
coming from Kane Drive. I have had several close calls myself, despite my
coming to a complete stop before entering the intersection from Veronica to
drive onto my driveway.
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
I think this dangerous situation could be alleviated by painting double lane
stripes at the 90 degree curve where the two streets meet, and putting raised
dots in the middle of the two lane stripes. This would alert drivers to where
the lanes are and that they should stay on their side of the road. I think this
inexpensive improvement could reduce the daily danger that is faced by
drivers at this intersection. Perhaps a “SLOW DOWN” yellow sign could be
inserted into the middle of the double lines, too.

#604 Cox Ave at Woodmont Dr and Regan Ln
Date Received: December 5, 2024
Requesting Resident: Subha Rajana
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Cox and Woodmont and Cox and Regan Ln
Description of traffic safety
concern:
It is becoming increasingly hard to cross Cox from Fredericksburg
neighborhood as many of us walk across for our walks.
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
It would be good to have a cross walk and possibly a light at these
intersections.
