Comments I like our traffic system. No need to change anything which
includes blocking the roads for kids. The school or district should
not enforce anything. I mean anything!

#608 Stoneridge Dr
Date Received: March 5, 2025
Requesting Resident: Tina Liu
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Stoneridge Drive and Bank Mill Road
Description of traffic safety
concern:
We just moved in and am quite concerned since we have young children that
cross the street to get to our parked cars along the west side of Stoneridge
Drive. The cars that come down Bank Mill Road come screaming around the
blind corner and fly down Stoneridge. (Both Bank Mill and Stoneridge are
steep down hills which contributes to speed build up).
Note: People speed up the hill as well.
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
A stop sign at the end Bank Mill Road?
(Likely will be ignored if not penal).
With speed bumps intermittently spaced down Stoneridge?

#609 Canyon View Dr at 4th St
Date Received: March 3, 2025
Requesting Resident: Kiruthiga Pushpam Mani
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Canyon View Drive and 4th Street intersection
Description of traffic safety
concern:
Currently, there is no stop sign on Canyon View Drive at the 4th street
intersection. As a result, traffic from Canyon View Drive is speeding onto 4th
Street. There is a lo of pedestrian traffic in this area (way to upper canyon
trail) and there are many homes with kids on 4th street. This is causing a lot
of safety concern for us and frightening to see speeding cars. I request the
city to add Stop sign for both sides of the traffic on Canyon View Drive at the
4th street intersection. You can also discuss with other neighbors and they
share the same sentiments as well.
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
Please add Stop sign for both sides of the traffic on Canyon View Drive at the
4th street intersection. Cars must STOP on Canyon View Drive before they
turn into 4th Street. This will control the speed as well as make the drivers be
more mindful/cautious of pedestrian traffic on 4th street.

#610 Scully Ave at Viewridge Dr
Date Received: March 12, 2025
Requesting Resident: Bob Rayl
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Scully/Viewridge Dr.
Description of traffic safety
concern:
Stop sign at Scully/Viewridge Dr. Many drivers do not stop! Dangerous
situation when turning onto Scully from Viewridge Dr. and a driver fails to
stop on Scully. What is the reason for a stop sign at this intersection? There is
no other stop signs at intersections on Scully, other than one at Kevin Moran
Park & North Hampton Dr. Looking forward to a reply from the city.
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
More Traffic control by Sheriff’s Department. I have made notice of my
concern to Sheriff's Department, your commission and city staff over the pass
several years, and there has been no evidence to correct this safety issue,
other than a neighbor trimming a tree which “blocked” one’s vision of the
stop sign. Several year’s ago a Sherrif parked in front of our home to visually
observe stop sign violators.

#611 Allendale Ave at Harleigh Dr (west)
Date Received: April 1, 2025
Requesting Resident: Esther Murray
Street name and cross street(s)
where the traffic safety concern
is occurring:
Allendale and Harleigh Drive (Nearest city offices and Fruitvale)
Description of traffic safety
concern:
Recently replaced teathered sign to yield to pedestrians, state law is
inadequate. Fast drivers going to and from WVC,RedwoodMiddle, Saratoga
ave private schools FLY and do not stop for pedestrians and the current
signage does little. Likewise on church days. I would like to see the blinking
cross walk signage similar to the one at fruitvale at Douglass and
wvc.Thankyou
Suggestions to address the
traffic safety concern:
Blinking crosswalk
