RESOLUTION NO. 25-044
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SARATOGA
ADOPTING A SIDE LETTER AGREEMENT REGARDING 457
PLAN CONTRIBUTIONS FOR SEA/AFSCME MEMBERS
WHEREAS, representatives of the City and SEA/AFSCME have reached agreement on
matters relating to the continuation of 457 Plan contributions for said employees, as reflected by
the written Side Letter Agreement dated June 24, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Side Letter Agreement regarding 457 Plan contributions was ratified by
SEA/AFSCME membership and presented to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, this Council finds that the terms and conditions contained in said Side
Letter Agreement regarding 457 Plan contributions are appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga that the
terms and conditions contained in the Side Letter Agreement between the City of Saratoga and
SEA/AFSCME regarding 457 Plan contributions dated June 24, 2025, attached as Attachment A,
are hereby ratified and adopted.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga
City Council held on the 2nd day of July 2025, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS FITZSIMMONS, WALIA, ZHAO, MAYOR
