RESOLUTION NO. 25-054
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA REAPPOINTING ISABELLE GECILS TO THE PARKS
& RECREATION COMMISSION, REAPPOINTING CRISTINA
MEISER AND APPOINTING SHALU PANDEY TO THE LIBRARY &
PUBLIC ART COMMISSION
WHEREAS, one vacancy was created on the Parks & Recreation Commission from the
expired term of Isabelle Gecils and one vacancy was created when Commissioner Badrinath
Sridharan was appointed to the Planning Commission;
WHEREAS, two vacancies were created on the Library & Public Art Commission from the
expired terms of Robert Gulino and Cristina Meiser;
WHEREAS, the City announced the vacancies, accepted applications until August 24, 2025,
and the City Council conducted interviews on September 17, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves that the following
individuals are appointed to Saratoga’s Commissions as follows:
• Parks & Recreation Commission: Isabelle Gecils, Full Term ending September 30, 2029
• Library & Public Arts Commission: Cristina Meiser, Full Term ending September 30, 2029
• Library & Public Arts Commission: Shalu Pandey, Full Term ending September 30, 2029
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City
Council held on the 1st day of October 2025 by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS FITZSIMMONS, WALIA, ZHAO, VICE MAYOR PAGE,
MAYOR AFTAB
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
