A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2025-26 FUNDING
FOR THE GREENBRIAR LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT (LLA) ZONE 3
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to promote safety and visual appeal of the City by
means of assessment districts throughout the City, and
WHEREAS, Greenbriar LLA Zone 3 is one such assessment district, and
WHEREAS, Recent planting of several new trees and updated irrigation along the Cox
Ave frontage of the LLA Zone 3 has depleted the available budget, and
WHEREAS, Color-Spot planting expenditures are anticipated for the upcoming spring
season, and
WHEREAS, additional funds in the amount of $20,000 are needed to be available for the
Color Spot and any repairs or improvements for the remaining fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, such additional funding is available in the unallocated Assesmments fund
balance of LLA Zone 3, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the FY 2025-26 Operating and Capital
Improvement Budget by increasing the budget for LLA Zone 3 as follows;
Account Description Account Number Amount
Allocate Expenditure 246.5302.64549 $20,000.00
To appropriate project expenditure for Greenbriar LLA Zone 3 for FY 2025-26.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saratoga
hereby authorizes an additional expenditure budget of $20,000 in the LLA Zone 3 Fund, and

The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga
City Council held on the 5th day of November 2025 by the following vote:
