Marie Guerra stated that she does not agree with several parts of the proposed initiative especially the "No Sunday Play" and "Twelve Levels of Priority far Field Use". ~ regards to the Pax~s and Recreation omrnission, Mrs. uenra suggested that its rnernbers should include someone from each sports user group, a citt~en at large, ar-d r~preentatlves form different neighborhoods. Dave Mighdoll stated that he thought last month the council voted unanimously to fvrrn group to discuss the initiative anal collect xr~put about the issues reflected in the ir~xtiative. Mr. Mihdoll stated that the Initiative group should trust the elected officials anal wlthdrav~ the ir~~tiatrve unconditionally. Mrs. labeaux stated that they have collected many signatures in support ofthe initiative. Scott Emery stated that he feels that the ouneii should address some of the user groups concerns in regards to the proposed initiative. Hov~ard Miller clearly expressed that there arc issues that need tQ be addressed.
