A. Introductions
1. To start the first meeting of the year each commission
member present gave their name, grade, and year iri school.
B. Important dates to remember
1. Bike Rally - Sunday, September 17.
a. Need volunteers to work this activity.
b. Jessica Ring, Lauren Pedersen, Anamarie Guichard, Suzanr~.~
Agee, Renee Kuo and Sharry Hu might be able to help with
the Rally.
2. Stinson Beach - Saturday, September 30.
a. Cancel because this is a bad day for students.

3. Parade - Sunday, November 5
a. Have the commission participate iri tree parade.
4. Youtri Commission Dinner
a. The Youth Commission will plan their dinner far sometirue iri
tree Spring .
C. Trie 1989-90 Youth Commission will be set-up a little different
t~ian last year. The Hatable difference is that the commission
will L-e broken down into smaller individual committees. Each
commiti;ee then will be responsible far planning a minimum of
orie activity for tree upcaming Schaal year. Members will be able
to sign up for one or mare of the following committees at the
September 19th meeting.
1. Ski
2. Dance
3. Hakone/Parade
4. Holiday
5. Soutr~ern California
6. Community Service
7. Warner Huttan House
8. Communications/Publicity
9. Skateboarding
D. Trie commission will have monthly meetings with committee up-
dates at each meeting. This means committees will need to meet
on their own to plan their activity.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m. Next meeting is scheduled far
Monday, September 19, 1989 at 6:00 p.m. in the Saratoga
Community Center (Arts & Crafts Room.}
