Report from board meeting on 9/3/97 a. The board formed its mission statement; the board felt that the major project for the youth commission this year would be "the loft" ; it is also important that sponsors are found through the non-profit organization - e.g. Smythe grant that wsa proposed last year b. Sydney will attend the next FWHH meeting on Sept 17 B. Fundraising for 1997-98 -Cohn 1. Donor recognition needs: a. First round of Thank you notes due by 12 September 1997 b. Schools inviting: Miller, Fisher, St. Andrew's, Sacred Heart & Redwood 3. Alison will take fliers to Miller Tannaz will take fliers to St. Andrew's Alex will take fliers to Sacred Heart Laura will take fliers to Fisher Sam will make annoucements at Redwood & help sell tickets afterschool C~ RMS 4.
