The Commission tl15CU55ed the tlmeta6le for submitting requests
for project funding. Chair I°tarilyn Kanemura asked that the
llbrdry 5ta1'f De solicited for any iCteas they might have, and
that Commissioners notify her or Llolly Barnes by Uecember tt
if they think of a possible project.
Commissioner Glck Uyer asked about `the status of the
Comc:is5lon's request for a public telephone outside the

B. 111scussion of Funding Sources far tt-~e Library
Marilyn h:anamura stated that she wanted to bring up this
sut?3ect for E:ommission discussion of the perceive
adequacy of the current Level of library servlce. County
Librarian Susan ~ulier slid tf;at the t~~unty erpectAd to e
mile to maintain the current level of servlce for at least the
Wert, two years. the consensus of the l.OmmisslQn was that
nothing need be done at this time.

open In ,Sanuary, after the remodeling.

tion welcoming her, C~'i the cooperative work program with
ionta, {~,` the Friends of the Library magazine campaign, and cd3
that she will have a report and make a recommendation on the
boot: drop at the nevi meeting.

nomination of IWarilyn !{anemura for appointment to the l;ounty
Library commission, but so far no word had been recei~,ed on the
outcome.

were taken during the library construction, and' they will be
kept at the 'library. Trtere was a discussion of the rental of
videos and the library poi.cy on rental collections in genera?.
Susan fuller will explore the options on the rental of videos.
