Comments concerning the role the Commission should now take, were made and it was decided that when Commissioners Beverett and Kanemura have completed their research into the duties and responsibilities of the Library Commission, we as a group will be in a better position to act. It was agreed, however, that our attention as commissioners should be directed to the Community Library and its needs. As individuals, involvement as to the fate of the Village Library building, would be voluntary and separate from the Commission. It was also suggested that any letter written to the News concerning library activates should be one composed by the Commission , signed and presented by the chairman to the paper. Personal opinions and suggestions, if publicized, must be on an individual basis in the role of a citizen rather thah a commissioner.
