HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 06-011RESOLUTION NO. 06-011 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA TO ESTABLISH AN INTERNAL SINHING FUND (DESIGNATED ACCOUNT) FOR EACH CITY OWNED FACILITY WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga owns several buildings; and WHEREAS, the city has lease agreements with non-profit groups for use of each of the buildings; and WHEREAS, as the city negotiates or re-negotiate future lease agreements the long-term maintenance needs of the buildings will need to be addressed; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saratoga requires future lease agreements, for city owned facilities, to include a provision establishing a designated account to address the long-term maintenance needs of the facility; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the lease agreement also identify the source of funding. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at an adjourned meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 15`h day of February, 2006 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmember Kathleen King, Nick Streit, Ann Waltonsmith, Vice Mayor Aileen kao, Mayor Norman Kline NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Norman Kline, Mayor
